Due to age some glaze is flaking to the interior and exterior - this has been sympathetically retouched & conserved with a clear coating - Only the convict potters 'Yeates', 'Moreton' and 'Leak' are known to have marked their wares - This actual jar appears on page 138 of 'Australian Pottery: The Frist 100 Years' by Geoff Ford - museum quality and a rare offering of Tasmanian History
