Smith's Ointment, 197 Bourke Street East, Melbourne' with a rope border and a large Australian Coat of Arms - lid is very good with a tiny 5mm X 2mm flake to rim at 5 O'Clock and 10 O'Clock. Also, a 7mm hairline to side of flange. Complete with matching branded base which has numerous nibbles to fine inner flange, some small glaze flakes and a 5mm chip to base edge - one of Australia's best and earliest lids and undoubtedly one of the best examples known - 8cm diameter
